Site Builder FAQ
1. How is Site Builder different from a Point2 Agent website?
Comparatively, Site Builder focuses on two things: Its ease-of-use, and its simplicity
(not to mention its amazing looks). Site Builder provides Real Estate professionals
with a simple website solution to help them promote themselves and their listings.
Site Builder allows you to customize your features to only those you want, and only
those chosen will be visible on your website.
Site Builder differs from Point2 Agent in that it does not offer all the back-end
features such as Prospect Management, Listing statistics, or CRM tools. This makes
it perfect for someone who is only looking to establish a simple online presence,
and has few or no listings to display.
2. How do I get my listings onto Site Builder?
There are currently three ways you can display your listings on your Site Builder
website.
- Purchase the IDX Solution from the home page of your Point2 account.
- Frame in your current IDX display, provided to you by an IDX solution
of your choice.
- Site Builder allows you to directly enter the listings you wish to showcase
on your website.
3. Can my listings be imported into Site Builder from my MLS/Association?
Site Builder does not automatically import your listing from your MLS/Association.
4. Can my listings be imported into Site Builder from Point2 Agent?
Site Builder does not import listings from your current Point2 Agent account.
5. Can I syndicate my listings from Site Builder?
Site Builder does not syndicate listings to our network of Syndication Partners.
6. How can I add IDX to Site Builder?
Yes, there are two ways for you to display IDX listings on your Site Builder website:
- Purchase the IDX solution directly from the Home Page of your Point2
account.
- Frame in your current IDX display, provided to you by an IDX solution
of your choice.
7. How will I get leads for my listings on Site Builder?
When a visitor contacts you through your Site Builder website, an email will be
sent to the email address associated with your Point2 account.
8. Will my Site Builder listings show up in my Syndication Dashboard?
No. Site Builder listings will not appear on your Syndication Dashboard.
9. Will Point2 Agent be upgraded to support the new themes available in Site Builder?
There will be some great changes coming to Point2 Agent as well, but for competitive
reasons cannot be discussed at this time. Point2 Agent upgrades will be rolled out
under a separate schedule.
10. Can I buy Site Builder and Point2 Agent and run both websites at the same time?
Yes, however they will not be integrated. Statistics appearing in your Point2 Agent
account will not include any of the activity from your Site Builder website. You
will be able to access Point2 Agent and Site Builder from the same account, however
you will be billed separately for these products.
11. Will my username need to change if I have a different Point2 Agent account or
Dashboard?
If you already have an account, you will not have to update your username and password.
The same account can be used to access Point2 Agent, Site Builder, IDX, and your
Syndication Dashboard. If you do not yet have an account, you may create a new account.
12. Can I buy and use multiple Site Builder products if I want more than one website?
Yes, however you will need to create a new Point2 Account for each new Site Builder
website you wish to buy. We are actively working on providing a way for you to add
as many products to a single Point2 account as you would like. When that work is
complete there will be a way to merge your Point2 accounts so that you can access
all of your products from one unified account.
13. Can I have Site Builder represent a team?
Yes, this will work just the same as with Point2 Agent. Sign up using your first
and last name as the team name, upload a team photo, and use an email address that
has access by all on the team.
14. Will Dashboard.Point2.com still take me to my Syndication Dashboard?
When you sign in to http://dashboard.point2.com,
you will be taken to your new Point2 Account Home Page. From this page, you can
manage your account settings, and see all of the products you have access to –
including the link to your Syndication Dashboard.
15. Will content from my Point2 Agent account carry over to a Site Builder account
if I switch?
Site Builder and Point2 Agent are two separate products and therefore content cannot
be transferred between the two.
16. Will Site Builder show me stats?
Integrated statistics are not available within Site Builder at this time.
17. How do I upload my photo to my Site Builder account?
- From your Point2 homepage click the “Edit” button next to
Site Builder
- Once in Site Builder, click the “Change Photo” button located
at the bottom of the head silhouette portrait.
- Click the “Upload An Image” link in the box that will appear
on your screen
- You will be shown a file dialog box where you can select an image from
your computer to use as your photo.

Depending on where you log into your Point2 products from, you may be taken to a
different page than you are used to. Here is a breakdown of where you will be taken
depending on where you login from:
