1. What is a Point2 Property Site?

A Property Site is just that – a website to advertise specific listings on the web! Commonly referred to as “single property website” or “listing website”, Property Sites are focused websites built around a specific listing. Each individual Property Site contains all the things you need to advertise a listing to the public, including property details, photos, listing agent information, and optional top-level domains.

2. Why do I need a Point2 Property Site?

Property Sites are a great way to market your listings and show your value to potential sellers. Imagine telling potential sellers during a listing presentation that you will give their home its very own website. Once you secure a listing and set up the Point2 Property Site, you add the URL as a sign rider to drive traffic to the Property Site.

3. What is the difference between Point2 Property Sites and Point2 Site Builder?

Simple. Point2 Property Sites are built to help you advertise specific listings, where as Point2 Site Builder helps you sell your services as a real estate professional. Both products are built around Point2’s easy-to-use editing interface, but contain themes and features specific to their intended purpose – selling listings (Property Sites) or selling yourself (Site Builder).

4. Do I receive a top-level domain with my Point2 Property Site?

Top-level domains are available for purchase in the ‘My Domains’ section of you Point2 Account. By default, every Property Site created is assigned a 4th level domain which will appear publicly as:
http://[listing address].propertysites.point2.com

5. Can I syndicate my listings from Point2 Property Sites?

The ability to syndicate Property Sites to Point2’s Listing Syndication network is a feature that will be added in the very near future.

6. Can my listings be imported into Property Sites from my Point2 Account or MLS/Association?

Property Sites will import your listing from your MLS/Association or from your Point2 Account in the very near future.

7. How will I get leads from my listings on Property Sites?

Your contact information is prominently displayed on the Property Site along with the home information. You will receive phone calls and emails when someone wants to know more about the home or schedule a visit. Emails will be sent to the email associated with your Point2 Account.

8. Can I create multiple Property Sites from the same account?

Absolutely. Once your first Property Site has been published, you can create an unlimited number of subsequent sites by simply following the creation process from the first site. All subsequent sites will appear in your Point2 Account with a link that says 'Publish For Free'.

9. Can I choose which one of my domains is set to be the Property Site default?

Yes, you can assign any of your domains to be the default for any of your Point2 Property sites. You can manage all of your domains and default options through the My Domains area of your Point2 Account.

10. Can I change my Property Site theme?

Of course! The theme of your Property Site can be changed (and subsequently reverted) at any time by using the bundled editing suite.

11. Where can I find help resources for Point2 Property Sites?
