Here at Point2, we browse Point2 Homes fairly often. We suspect you look at it sometimes, too. Between checking out regional home prices and making fantasy lists of future dream homes, there’s one other thing we like to do: hunt for celebrity homes.
File this under, “Celebrities: they’re just like us!” Even the rich and famous need real estate agents (like you!) to list their homes for them. Here are three celebrity homes that are currently listed for sale on Point2 Homes. Brace yourself for sticker shock; we’ve listed them from least to most expensive.
The most humble of the bunch, Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson’s Malibu beach house is listed as a 3bd/3ba single family home. It boasts teak siding, a roof deck, top-of-the-line home theater, master suite soaking tub and black baby grand piano (!). Purchased in early 2000 for only $1,800,000 – remember: it’s not beachfront property – Ms. Anderson gave this fixer-upper a complete eco-friendly remodel.
Interestingly, this property first hit Point2 Homes back in February. You might’ve seen our link on Facebook. Initially, there were only a handful of… hmmm… “arty” listing photos. One featured a dog lounging on the sundeck. Another was a close-up of beauty products on a vanity. Since then, whoever owns this listing has seen fit to update it with a broader range of photos showcasing the natural lighting, interior elements and exterior shots. Bravo!
If you’ve got a spare $15 million lying around, you may want to snap up funnyman Larry David’s humble home in Pacific Palisades, CA. This “gated country English estate” includes a main home and guest house, for a combined total of 7 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms (and 5 or so fireplaces). Built on three adjoining lots, there’s also a heated swimming pool and an ocean view.
This listing just hit Point2 Homes yesterday, and we can’t predict how long it will stay on the market. We can tell you one thing though, if you’re considering making an offer, you may want to prepare for an anxiety-riddled negotiation process that looks a lot like this:
Jon Bon Jovi’s New York Penthouse: $42,000,000
By far the most expensive home on our list, rocker Bon Jovi’s duplex penthouse offers an impressive 7,452 square feet of living space in the heart of SoHo. This two-level residence has impressive floor-to-ceiling windows, three landscaped terraces “of unparalleled proportions with staggering views” and not one but two chef’s kitchens. (Prepare to stock up on groceries.)
The apartment is being offered fully furnished, complete with the audio/visual equipment in the media room. Does this mean we can bring our copy of Slippery When Wet to test the sound quality during the home tour?
