Point2 Agent Blog: Online Marketing Tips for Real Estate

I (heart) Point2

It’s a good life here at Point2.  Don’t believe me?  Well, maybe I’m biased because I work here – but to be honest I don’t really ‘work here’.  Confused?  I know.  I am one of only a small handful who works for Point2 remotely.  I come to work at our headquarters in Saskatoon every few months so I can have fun with all my co-workers and enjoy the office lifestyle for a week or so at a time (and work, too).

So what do we like to do at Point2?

Probably one of the most-loved pastimes of Point2′ers is playing foosball.  I personally have never been that great at it so didn’t enjoy playing - until I won a game (or maybe they just let me win).  I think I have a new-found affinity with foosball now.

Point2 has an XBOX 360 with quite a few games.  By and far the one most often played is Rock Band.  I will admit, the vocal stylings of some of our staff can be a bit of a shock.  I love karaoke but even I might be a bit nervous to sing in front of everyone at work…who am I kidding, that doesn’t really stop me.  I apologize now to every one of my co-workers whose ears are bleeding because of me.  Rock on!

And…we like to eat here at Point2.  We have catered lunches twice a month and every once in a while one of our many teams will get together and throw a tasty ‘good morning’ breakfast for the staff.  You can’t go wrong when your favorite breakfast food (bacon) is laid out in such an appetizing way, like was done by our CATUsed development team.  I try to plan all of my trips around these food dates.

With just a few days left of my visit to the office, I’m trying to cram in as much of the Point2 Lifestyle as I can.  I always miss it when I head home and pine for the next time I will be back…

Maybe next time I am here I will post about what the actual working environment is like – because that’s pretty cool too!

Important note: look closely at the CAT logo – it is made up entirely of toast, hash browns, eggs . . . and bacon :-)

    Mmmmm . . . tasty marketing.

Now that is my kind of marketing.

On a side note, I have heard Megan sing, and it isn’t that bad!

I should probably point out that in the picture of someone playing Rock Band, that it is not me. That is one of our awesome Customer Service Reps, Mandy, rockin’ out!
